Ian & Sonia Angus founded The Rustic Rover Company to offer high quality, wood fired oven food to discerning customers. Sonia has worked in the catering sector for many years and brings her experience in the preparation and delivery of quality food to the business. Ian has a horticultural food production background and is a 6th generation grower. Together, we are The Rustic Rover Company.
We aim to deliver our street food concept at markets, food festivals, private parties, weddings, corporate events - wherever our clients ask us to attend!
We operate from a Land Rover Defender which has the wood fired oven "transplanted" in the back which means we can get to just about anywhere. The Rustic Rover package is configured to suit the event and customers specific requirements.
Quality dough crafted into our own selection of pizzas, flat breads and other products using only the best ingredients to create taste sensations.
We source local, East Yorkshire ingredients where possible and our oven is fired with Gozney or ‘O Sole Mio, beech wood briquettes, specially developed for pizzerias and bakeries.
